Support us at Waitrose

For the month of April ’17, Waitrose in St Marychurch are very kindly supporting us through their green token scheme. This is a great opportunity to raise some funds for the club. Any monies raised will go directly to our junior section by helping to replace out of date equipment and assisting in our development plan to further expand our juniors in the future.

So we need your help!

Anytime you go into Waitrose and are offered a Community Matters Green Token, PLEASE pop it into the BCSC bin on your way out. At the end of the month they total up the tokens and offer us a donation. The more tokens, the greater the share of a donation.

What is Waitrose Green Token Scheme?

‘By placing a token in the Community Matters box at your local branch you’re helping your community. Since its launch in 2008, the scheme has donated £14 million to local charities chosen by you.

At the end of your shop in branch, you’ll receive a token to place in a box of the good cause you’d most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the donation they receive. Each month every Waitrose branch donates £1,000 (£500 in Convenience shops) between 3 local good causes that you choose.’
