Events

We meet and socialise at our top clubhouse in Fore Street, St Marychurch.

We are open most Thursdays & Fridays 7.30pm – 11pm, Sundays 12.30pm – 3pm and Saturdays when events are held. Many of our members are non-sailors and have joined BCSC purely for the friendly social atmosphere that the Club offers.

Our weekly quiz is held on Thursday, and Friday is our Members draw where you have the chance to win up to £250, but you do have to be there. Sunday lunchtimes offer an opportunity for a friendly drink and an apres-sail during the sailing season.

We have an active Social Committee and we always welcome new committee members to bring fresh ideas and suggestions to the fore.

The clubhouse is also available for members personal occasions such as birthdays and christenings etc. If sufficient bar takings can be guaranteed this is likely to be free of charge for members who are able to provide their own buffet and/or entertainment.

Can I book an event or hire BCSC?

There is plenty of floor space in our top clubhouse and a perfect location to stage your event. It is used for Art classes, Ukulele practice, and Creative craft. If you would like more information on how to book our clubhouse, please email us at: babbacombe.corinthians@gmail.com
