Sailing season starts this week at BCSC.

Next Wednesday morning at 10am we have a small working party going down to the beach to give the bottom clubhouse a quick spruce before the season starts. If anyone wishes to join us, please feel free to pop down. The coffee will be on and any help would be much appreciated. We are hoping to make this a weekly event, being an ideal time to do a few small jobs but also just a nice social meet over a coffee.

This week at BCSC..

Tuesday 28th March at 8pm – Sailing Talk covering essential knots and club boats.  This week we will be going through all the different club boats we have available to hire as well as plenty of practical help refreshing our knot skills before the season starts. 

Wednesday 29th March at 8pm we have our members movie evening. This week we are showing Brassed Off.  Fish & Chips are available but please let Lyn know beforehand or pop your name up in the clubhouse. Fish suppers cost approx £5

Thursday 30th March at 8.30pm – Quiz Night.  Come along and test your knowledge in our weekly quiz.

Friday 31st March between 8.30 – 10.00pm we have our weekly members draw. You have to be there to win it so please come up and see if you’re a winner.

Saturday 1st April at 8pm we have our Curry night. Tickets have been selling fast but there is still time to get your ticket from the bar.  More info..

Sunday 2nd April – SAILING SEASON STARTS!! Join us on the beach to kick start the sailing season. Planned as a social sail, this is a gentle way to ease you back onto the water. There will be crewing opportunities and all club boats are available for hire. Plenty of spaces on dutyman also for our volunteers.
