Talks, St Davids Day, Race Night and more This Week at BCSC

Firstly, thank you to everyone who attended last nights ‘BCSC At Home” event. The clubhouse was packed as we welcomed our friends and fellow sailors from other local sailing clubs. It was a great evening and hope very much that you all enjoyed it. To the many members who kindly donated food for our buffet – thank you!

This week at BCSC..

Sunday 26th Feb  at 3pm we have RBS Six Nations. This is a big game between England v Italy. England will be looking to keep their Grand Slam hopes alive.

Tuesday 28th Feb at 8pm we continue our weekly training talks and this week we look at the basics of sailing. This is an ideal opportunity for all our sailors,  especially our occasional less frequent ones, to come and have a little brush up before the season starts.

Wednesday 1st March at 8pm we have our members music evening. This week we show music by Manic Street Preachers and Stereophonics. Hot Dogs will be available on the night at a cost of £2.00

Thursday 2nd March at 8.30pm. Come along and test out your knowledge in our weekly quiz. Very informal and lots of fun.

Friday 3rd March between 9-10pm we have our weekly members draw. This has now carried over for a few weeks and the prize fund stands at £120

Saturday 4th March at 8pm is our Race Night. We have held a few of these evenings before and they have proved very popular especially with our family members. You can buy your race cards for £1 each. Each person must have at least one race card. There will be race booklets on each table and bets cost 50p per person per race. Six races will be shown over the evening. These evenings are alot of fun so please come up and support.  Fresh rolls will be available.
