What’s Happening This Week

This week at BCSC..

Tuesday 7th March at 8pm we continue our weekly training talks. This week we will be giving an introduction to racing. Also, for our new / existing racers, we will update you on important new rules introduced for this season. With the season now only a few weeks away it would be nice to see as many of our sailors come on up for these talks if possible. 

A peek at whats coming up for the month: Introduction to racing (7th March), safety boat good practice (14th March), start line basics (21st March), club boats (28th March), knots (4th April), better sailing (18th April), race tactics (25th April). These sessions are free.

Wednesday 8th March at 8pm we have our members music evening. This week we show The Rolling Stones live at Glastonbury. So any Mike Jagger or Keith Richards fans out there, be sure to pop up.

Thursday 9th March at 8.30pm. Come along and test out your knowledge in our weekly quiz.

• Friday 10th March at 8pm we continue showing live RBS Six Nations rugby. This match features Wales v Ireland. Also, between 9-10pm we have our weekly members draw. This has now carried over for a few weeks and the prize fund stands at £130. You have to be there to win it!!

• Saturday 11th March at 4pm we show England v Scotland in the Six Nations. HUGE match for England as they continue their hunt for a second consecutive Grand Slam.
