RYA Powerboat PB2 Courses this April

We are running two RYA Powerboat courses this April. These two-day courses are being held on…

• April 14th and 15th.
• April 29th and 30th.

This practical course provides the skills and knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. The course will teach boat handling and seamanship, focusing on low-speed close-quarters manoeuvres, man-overboard recovery, driving at planing speeds and practical knowledge of international collision regulations. The cost to BCSC members is £275.

For those of you interested in joining the BCSC safety boat team, there will be an extra day’s practical session on safety boat and rescue techniques based on the RYA Safety Boat course – possibly on the 19th – at no extra charge.
