AGM

Thank you to all that attended our AGM this afternoon (09/10/16). It was lovely to see such a good turn out.

Thanks have to go to all our volunteers both at the beach helping with the sailing, and those supporting the running of the top clubhouse.

The club has had a great year. We have welcomed many new members, introduced and trained up many new sailors, rejuvenated our junior section and have had a well supported club racing program. The club has also been able to reinvest in some of its equipment, acquiring two new safety boats and also a launch tractor.

The club welcomes our new Commodore, Dave Homer and Vice Commodore’s Jan Hester and Phil Slater.

The AGM also paid tribute to our outgoing Commodore Neil Spacagna  and Vice Commodore Guy Hester. Neil and Guy have both put a huge amount of time into the club over the years and have been instrumental in getting the club into its current healthy, buoyant position.

Please remember that even though the sailing has slowed down for the winter, we still have plenty of social events planned in the top clubhouse. Keep up to date by checking the social calendar online or better still pop into the clubhouse. Thank you to all our members.
