There’s no doubt that in the summer we’ll get better sailing in the afternoon, once the sea breezes have had a chance to build so we’ve included some Saturday afternoon racing, just to see how it goes. In an attempt to siphon some of the experience down to the less able parts of the fleet we’re including one buddy race in each series where an experienced sailor will partner a less experienced one. We’ll be discussing the details at the pre-season Cox and Crew meeting (Wed. 3rd March, 8:15pm at the Fore St. Club house). The first race will be on Saturday 3rd April, 2:45pm start. Note …. Saturday … Because it’s Easter weekend and most people like reserve Easter Sunday for chocolate overdose. And finally, don’t forget we have two Saturday working parties, 9:30-12:30, 13th March and 27th March. Jan 122010
Schedule Sun 25th October – 10:40am start on the water. |

Our Regatta will take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June 2010 and be part of the Babbacombe Festival from Thursday 10th to Sunday 20th June 2010. This year we will not have Hooper & Wollen sponsorship, so now is the time to be thinking ahead to see if we can get an alternative sponsor and also decide the race format, entry cost and evening entertainments we would like to have.
