Olympic torch relay

At Approx 5pm on the 20th May the Olympic torch relay will stop outside the club

the club will be open for this event.

SAILING TORCH RELAY

This is the 1948 Olympic torch which is going to be relayed by boat from club to club to Weymouth.

Babbacombe Sailing Club will have its time with the Torch on Saturday 26th May in the afternoon at the beach.

There will be a BBQ and games then the Torch will be at the Top club house in the evening where we will have

entertainment and events. The Torch will then be transported by boat on Sunday morning by as many boats as possible to Shaldon.

This Saturday 5th May Plant Sale, Plus cakes and books sale. Tea and Coffee

on sale. If you have any plants, books or cakes you would like to donate

to the club please bring them to the club Friday night or Saturday morning at 9:30 AM

Also need a few members to give a few hours of there time to help out please speak to Denise.
